…can be summed up by this. What makes this jut so dumb, is that these have been up for weeks in Boston. As well as nine other cities. New York City, you know, the place where the WTC towers used to be, didn’t flip out like this. Then again, NYC is also the kind of place that’s building a new WTC that’s even BIGGER, just to show the world they aren’t afraid.
I have determined that smart people should never post anything political on any kind of email list. EVER. Why? Because intelligent people will attempt to use their intellect to persuade the other side and they seem to always be passionate about the topic (at least in my experience).
And I’m always stuck in the middle.
Sometimes I wish I could just pick a side and go with it, then at least I could totally commiserate with one side of the political argument or the other. But no, I sit in the middle, going left or right on an issue by issue basis. Sigh, I really do wish there was a clear right and a clear wrong, but there isn’t. And it’s this acknowledgment that keeps me stuck in the middle of all this crap.
Sigh…now if only the people on the various email lists I’m on could at least come to grips with the idea of differing political opinions and just stop bringing this stuff up.
This is hilarious. It also does a good job of explaining Net Neutrality. Oh yeah, this is the guy from the “I’m a Mac, I’m a PC” Apple ads.
Thank you Daily Show and YouTube.
*shakes head*
I’m sorry, but congress just needs to stop. everyone will be happier if they stay away from “the internets.”
I rest my case, your honor.
