About Me
To begin, my full name is William Stanley Morton, Jr, but my most people call me Stan. I was born twenty-six years ago in Cincinnati, Ohio to Stan and Mary Morton. Four years after I arrived into the world, my little sister, Sydney was born.
While in Cincinnati, I lived a pretty normal life. I was involved in various organizations, played little league, had friends. Pretty much the fairly typical white suburban existence. Mind you I wasn’t white, but well, close enough. I attended public school in the Sycamore School District. Eventually, I would graduate with High Honors from Sycamore High School in June of 2000.
After almost nineteen years in Cincinnati, I packed up and came to beautiful Princeton, New Jersey. There I attended Princeton University, and after four years I graduated with a Bachelors of Science and Engineering in Computer Science. I was also a member of the Princeton University Band; where I was a drummer and eventually the conductor.
Upon graduating, I started working for the Microsoft Corperation out in Redmond, Washington. I lived out in Seattle for about 18 months before I decided it was time to return to the east coast. So I transfered within Microsoft to the recently aquired Groove Networks in January of 2006. Unfortunatly, things in both my personal and professional life did not fair well, and I decided to make a change (for once in my life).
Which brings us to the present. I have since moved back to Seattle and joined the Social as a member of the Zune Services team. I spend a lot of time hanging out with friends, playing video games, playing music, rock climbing and just generally enjoying life. It’s pretty nice.
