Read the last paragraph. The woman, Lana Skirboll, is my best friends mother. I’ve met her, she’s awesome. And apparently, she’s one of the most power people in the US. Huh, maybe I should have paid closer attention to what Pat was going on about when he talked about his parents jobs.
So, it turns out that my Mom’s communication director found your webpage. This resulted in an amusing exchange:
ComDir: Dr. Skirboll, do you really know this person?
DrS: Yes. He’s my son’s best friend.
ComDir: Oh, then that’s ok.
