And I ran….

July 29th, 2008

…I ran so far away. Yes, this past weekend, I took part in the Ragnar Relay. I have never really run anything of this kind of distance before. I’ve always been a sprinter, doing whatever was necessary for the sports I was playing. So doing this was a definite challenge, but I did it.

I never thought I could do something like this. But I did it, and I’m really proud of myself. I’m also looking forward to doing more of this kind of thing in the future. I’ve already told my friend I want to do a different relay next summer and, hopefully, I’ll be able to find a team for the ragnar as well.

Oh, yeah. My total distance was 11.4 miles which I did in 1′ 54″. Not bad considering I started training at the begining of July and I had to stop for lights. ^_^

A Quick Shout Out…

July 21st, 2008

…to my man D Baum. This was posted as a link on his Facebook profile, and I just wanted to spread it around a bit.

My friends never cease to amaze me. Congrats, D!

And for those of you who are wondering, he’s the drummer. (And yes, he can actually play the drums.)

I can quit at any time…

July 18th, 2008

Hello. I’m Will and I’m a workaholic. I’m not sure how I got this way. I wasn’t this bad in college. I’d chill out. I wouldn’t work till exhaustion. I wouldn’t just keep working for no good reason. But somehow, with all of the binge coding I’ve become a workaholic.

Honestly, it’s 12:31 in the morning, and I’m working on my own free will.

My friend, Amanda, says that all I have to do is figure out the 12 steps and then I’m set. Around here, if I can figure out the 12 steps, I can make a complete killing. Just have to figure ou tthe 12 steps.

Back to the A2

So I’ve been kind of MIA for the past two weeks or so, and I have a very good reason for it; I was in Ann Arbor teaching at Camp Caen.

Ok, this is just silly

Seriously, this is kind of absurd. Can he still be dominant? The man beat the best golfers in the world, with a torn ACL and two stress fractures in his leg. The average person can’t walk with a torn ACL, he played 92 holes of golf. At this point, Tiger can only go up from here. Ok, enough of that.
