This past weekend I decided to go for an impromptu drive. This was the route I took and I had a pretty good time. I did the twisty section of 202 a bunch of times, just because it was just too fun.

I think I’m going to do more weekend night drives. There’s so much good driving terrain to explore around here. And my car is just too good.

So my insomnia has struck again. And Yorke’s collection of Scrubs is not helping. This, will not end well. No, this will definitely not end well.

Check out the front page of http://alumni.princeton.edu/main/. Of course, it’s one of the few times during the P-Rade when I had to fix my mallets. Oh well, still, it’s fun to be on the front page.
Life and Times
This weekend has been a weird one. It’s been decent overall, but due to some events, I’ve kind of been rather melancholy for most of the past 48 hours. I think it’s just been a perfect storm of stuff that’s left me feeling a bit drained. None of it’s work related, however. I think I’m just in a meh cycle. Hopefully I’ll be out of it soon.

It’s amazing how much of my lifestyle has changed since I moved out to the suburbs. My tolerence for hanging out in bars in Seattle seems to have dropped quite a bit. I was in one in Kirkland over the weekend, and I realized it just wasn’t my thing anymore. Well, no, that’s probably not correct. I think for right now, the whole bar…thing just isn’t appealing to me.
Maybe it’s just that I’m tired of the same routine. Go to a bar; have a few drinks; maybe dance, then go home. I did that every weekend for like 9 months, and, now, I’m just kind of bored with it. It’s funny is that when I go out in Boston, it’s very different. For some reason, I’m more energized to go out. Maybe it’s that I have better luck meeting people out there. It’s really hard to say.
A year ago, I had no desire to live on the east side. It seemed far away and lame. It was mainly work, and I couldn’t imagine living out in the quiet again. Yet, here I am. Maybe I just needed to get my west side Seattle living out. Hard to say. All I know is, it’s an interesting change.
