Well, it’s that time again
Yeah, I remember when I used to update this all the time. Yeah, those were the days. Well, I guess it’s that time again.
So there are kind of two big bits of news in my life for the past month or so. The first is that I got rid of my RX-8. Anyone who’s talked to me in the past six months or so about cars has known I’ve been lusting after a Subaru STI. Well, a few weeks ago I traded in my RX-8 and picked up a 2006 model in Black. I’ve had it for close to a month and it makes me stupidly happy.
The other big news is I’m moving out of Belltown and back to Redmond. My friend Justin and I are now renting a house right by work on the east side. I’m paying less in rent, have more space, and have less of a commute. It makes more sense and that’s really what a lot of it is about.
I guess after that, I had Sakura-Con about a week ago. That was great fun. I’ve also been nominated for the position for the Director of Operations, so I’m excited to run for that. Which should be cool.
Work continues to go well. I still love what I do, although I am definitely trying to take my life back a little. Work/Life balance is not something I excel at, so I’m going to give it a major go.
So yeah. I’m interested to see if I blog more now that I’m moving back to the East Side and will be spending less of my time commuting and doing stuff like that.
