Holy F*ck, he’s alive

December 28th, 2007

Ok, so it’s been a friggen while. I’m somewhat surprised that this site is still up and working, not to mention that lj feed is still up. Regardless, I’m alive. And the past six weeks have been…interesting. I’m not going to go into crazy detail on everything, but here’s the reader’s digest version of the happenings:

  1. After release, Mom, Dad and Syd came out to Seattle for Thanksgiving. It was a pretty chill holiday with a lovely dinner at Ray’s boathouse. There was a lot of movie watching and general hanging out.
  2. I adopted two adorable cats. Their names are Meo and Gin (I didn’t name them) and they bring way too much amusement into my life. Having cats is definitely a good idea and one I am thankful I’ve made. Esepcially because…
  3. On December 1st, in a football game, I suffered a Grade 2 sprain (partial ligament tear). It’s healing, but it’s doing it slowly. I’m off crutches for the most part, but it still hurts and getting around can be…fun. I spent the first couple of days unable to move a lot, and my kitties were awesome in making me feel better.
  4. My grandmother passed away on the 7th which caused a change in my holiday plans. I left Seattle on the 12th and have been in the east since then. The funeral services was lovely and it was great to see family again. It just sucked about the reason for having to see each other.
  5. The weekend after the funeral I hung out in Princeton. It was a good time and I needed a bit of an escape after the funeral.
  6. I’ve been in Cincinnati since the 17th, and it’s been a really great Christmas vacation. Spending time with the family was really great, and not having to think of much has been really cool. Christmas was fun and I got some really nice gifts. I also stuffed myself with Cincinnati foods, so I should be able to make it for at least six months or so.

That’s the short run down of what’s been going on. I’ll try to be better about blogging. If nothing else, I want the record of things.

Merry Christmas!

December 25th, 2007

Yes, I’m still alive. I’ll write a blog post about my life since launch. A lot’s happened. Which explains the lack of posting. But I remember my password, the site’s still up. Yeah.

Anyway…

Happy Holidays!
