I really have needed to update, I've just been really really lazy about it. Actually, I'm not in much of a mood to write, but since Nicole is reading, I have a bit of time to myself. So here I am, trying to figure out what exactly to say. To best honest, I don't have much to say. Mainly because I haven't done much of anything. And it's great.
God I needed this vacation so badly. Getting away has been fantastic. While it's more than Nicole would like, I'm only checking my email every now and then. I'm not running around, I'm just being. Mind you, I've been a little under the weather the past couple of days. But I'm still thuroughly enjoying myself.
I really don't want to leave. I just want to stay here in South Carolina; eat lots of really good food; and spend time with my family and Nicole. Unfortunatly, I don't think Microsoft would appriciate that much. In fact, they'd probably fire me. Which would not be too good. Especially since I went shopping and bought new cloths today. Oh well.
Anyway, Nicole is almost done with her book so I should wrap this up. Later.

So I've made it back to beautiful Litchfield, South Carolina. I'm currently here with my family (Dad, Mom, and Syd) as well as Nicole. It feels good to be back here.
Beyond arriving, not much was actually done. Nicole and I got here about six hours before my family did, and all we really did was eat dinner and crash. No joke. We didn't do anything. Which is actually very good. Because that's all I really wanted to do. Nothing.
This vacation is going to be about doing nothing. If I don't feel like doing something, it's not going to get done. Period. I feel this is a good way to be. Because, personally, I'm spent. I just need a week away from everyone and everything. I need to get myself ready to deal with the rest of the world. And it is going to take a week to get there. So here I am in a rather remote location, away from work, and crazyness. It's going to be awesome.

Vaction is almost here. Oh god, it's almost here. Nicole is safely back in the country. I've only got one more work day between and my family and my baby. I'm so excited. I want it to be here now. (I'm impatient). SOOOO close. Just a little bit longer.

I'm almost to the end. I can feel it. I can taste it. The release is almost done. Nicole is coming back. I'll be in South Carolina on Saturday. I just have to finish it out. This is the time to dig deep. Gotta dig deep. Gotta keep on pushing. Almost there. Almost there!

These were my friends parents. I'm not going to say her first name, because she deserves privacy, but she is a wonderful person, who was there for me during a rough transition in my life. My prayers are with her tonight.
