Nicole-less Weekend

March 27th, 2004

So Nicole is out of town this weekend; she's gone off to a softball tournament at the University of Virginia. This is going to be fun. It's been a long time since I've been on campus and she hasn't. I miss her alread. Hopefully I'll be able to get some work done in the time that she is gone.

So that's about it. I guess I never got around to talking about my thoughts on the NCAA tournament game. Well, there's no time like the present.

Essentially, the game was a posative experience. Yeah we lost, but we looked good doing it. I wanted us to win, but I was realistic. It was a 3rd seed verses a 14th seed. Yes upsets happen, and we were even up at the half, but in the end, the better team won. That's how it's supposed to be.

I was definetly glad to be back early. I just wasn't feeling the trip the way I was back in my Freshman year. Part of that was location (New Orleans vs Denver) and part was just the aura of the band. I wasn't having that great a time, really, and I found myself just wanting to get away.

So, in more recent news, my computers are working, thankfully. Had to make some temporary hardware moves to get things installed, but after that, things are good. This weekend should be good in terms of getting work done. If I stay diligent, I should get done with all of the projects I have now easily.

Ahhhh…..

Things have been good otherwise. Played two-ball tonight. Definetly fun. I hadn't played in a while, but it was good to see that I hadn't gotten too rusty. I even won two games. The competition could have been a little tougher, but it was challenging, so all is good.

That's really what I did, well, that and watch anime, but that's a blog for tomorrow. Alright, it is time for bed. I need to get up tomorrow, I have work and one of the biggest Lax games of the season. Whoo hoo. Should be fun.
